I rarely read fluffy YA romance these days, mainly because they tend to get repetitive and ends up like just another cliched romance. And, this book was somewhat like that. But also really fun. This was the state of my mind and heart after finishing this book:

Mind: Ugh, this book was so slow. Where was the plot?

Heart: Plot? Who needs plot when you have such an adorable love story and gives you all the feels?

Mind: But the girl was so annoying!

Heart: Well, she was just sad because no one understood her.

Mind: The story started off with Gia's boyfriend dumping her. On a prom night no less. I really did not see that coming. #sarcasm

Heart: Oh, come on. You're out of your mind. How could you forget that berak-up got her a fill-in boyfriend? Who, let's just admit, was really hot and droolworthy!

Mind: To prove the dumbness of the story, let me point out how much Gia lied in this story just because she thought her friends wouldn't believe that she actually had a boyfriend. On top of that, there's Jules who is supposedly trying to steal Gia's friends. How ridiculous can it get?

Heart: Hey, girls can be mean. And Jules definitely was. Let's not forget she actually made things worst in her life.

Mind: But even the jokes were lame.

Heart: Well, it made me laugh so I couldn't care less.

Mind: But--

Heart: Oh, stop it! No one needs your opinion!

Mind: You can't stop me--

Heart: Yeah, right! This book was cute adorable, and made me feel happy so keep your mind at rest.

Mind: *admits defeat*

Well, no you know how much I hated and loved this book lol. But on a serious note, read this book if you want a nice, fluffy read with cutesy romance. Just don't go into it expecting a lot, because then you'll end up like my mind: disappointed XD I had so much fun reading this book! Even the side characters developed as the story progressed and I ended up liking them. This was my first book by Kasie West, and I really can't wait to read her other works because sometimes you just need a good YA romance to make your day, and I think I have found a new favorite author in that genre! This was also my first book of 2017, and I am so glad that I chose this!
